This project began with a tiny existing cabin - conceptually, a wooden tent - hand-built by the owners on their favorite campsite.
The design scheme expands the functionality of this private retreat; we added reliable heat, a kitchen, bath and additional lounge space to the original cabin. The addition is a reiteration of the iconic cabin form, but it is deflected to preserve the owners' view of the Stewart range from the cabin/bedroom.
